house decoration

house decoration

hello good evening a very happy diwali to you all i know that i was supposed to upload a video on monday but i couldn't so i'm going to upload this video on tuesday for you people because i know

house decoration

house decoration, there are many viewers who are waiting for me maybe small amount of viewers but yes they are waiting for my vlog so here i am with a diwali vlog i had been super super

busy on the diwali days like from dhanteras onwards till diwali like last day yesterday because it's my first diwali in dubai and you know getting things arranged i need a lot of things in my puja(prayer) shopping for some gold item shopping for some household items it has all been occupied and you know

packed all day long so i'm going to give you a quick look today like what all we did on this diwali in dubai and this is my first diwali in dubai you know i'm you know it was all full of panic and it was all full of you know kind of running here and there in order to arrange things that i wanted so yeah without wasting any much more time

let's get started i'm going to attach some very beautiful pictures at the end of this vlog so please don't go anywhere and keep watching till the end and if you like this video then do give it a thumbs up.... ok so now i'm at my entrance and we tried to make some rangoli with the use of these candles as you can see and of course it's a another

day so all these candles are blown out and with the use of some flowers and some diyas (earthen lamps) around we have made some of these kind of we tried to make some rangoli and moving forward i have this the beautiful sticker of lakshmi (goddess) foot which is like considered very auspicious for diwali and then i as you all

know i'm very kind of lazy i can't make all kind of rangoli with all colors and all basically it's about like i can't make them only because i don't know how to make it and my hands are very shaky kind of thing so i don't know how to properly place the colors in rangoli so i bought this beautiful rangoli from the nearby store which has

also laxmi foot drawn in it and this beautiful color combination and it's a very small rangoli just to kind of add some glamour to your entrance and then going forward i have about this door hanging(bandhanwar) from one of my supermarkets nearby and abhishek (husband) chose this door hanging i did not like it at the first instance but then when it's like

put on my door then it's looking very beautiful i feel like it's looking beautiful so this is the look of door hanging we have this light on the entrance just to add some gleam in the corridor or lightning on the door itself then moving forward to my door i added this i made this kind of

auspicious sign and it is considered very good to make the sign on your door and then i added these stickers of shubh labh which are also considered very auspicious and especially on the day of diwali now moving forward i have these diyas and marigold flower decoration line going forward and so here is a beautiful line

in which the oil has spilled there as you can see you i don't know what the problem with this diya (earthen lamp) but the oil got spilled out of it but when the lamps were lit up this was all looking very beautiful very kind of attracting corridor i have this small candle stand thing in which a candle is burning as you can see this is kind of

stand in which candle is and i had kept some camphor to and just to ensure good smell is around plus camphor is used to purify your air and environment so yeah that's what that and moving forward i had this small candle and a small marigold flower

then i tried to color-coordinate my room you know because i have this orange coloured sofa in my room and when i went to buy this bed sheet i found out that the you know kind of yellow green and orange color so i immediately picked up this bedsheet because it came in my mind that it will perfectly coordinate with my orange sofa but

you know there's a long story behind this bedsheet as i was not getting any beautiful bedsheet in any of the stores nearby so basically we went to this a shop it is a very famous shop at least here,in dubai i don't know about in india because i haven't been there in india so there's a shop called choitram and it came for around 44 dhirams

or something then i have this big window in my bedroom or drawing room or whatever you say it's just one room so you can see it then again have this beautiful arrangement of earthen lamp and flowers and then i have all my plants

i also kept these two flowers on my tv stand just to add some color to my house now as you can see the whole house is color-coordinated please don't mind that box of sweet because as you all know its diwali and so sweet has to be there so that was it all about my room and my corridor and everything and now i'm going to take you

to my prayer table where i have got lot of things so here is my puja table you can say it's kind of a puja table only and i have those god idols and photographs then here i have all the prasad which i offered them some flowers too i bought this very pretty little thing in which you can

make tilak i don't know what to call tilak in english so yeah i have one of vermillion one of turmeric and one of sandlwood in it next i bought this beautiful big bell for prayer because my bell is really small as you can see this is my older bell

i bought this beautiful piece of lamp and this is like copper jug which we bought because you know it's considered very good to have water from this copper jug for your skin and everything and then i bought this planner for myself in which i'm going to write all my upcoming video plans and youtube

schedule and everything moving forward to this big earthen lamp we lit this big lamp and its supposed to be burn all night to the next morning and if it's like burning till the next morning then it is considered that the prosperity or lakshmiji (godess laxmi) will be in your house in your life for long period of time,so this is the overall

look of my puja table that how i managed to arrange some things and how i did my pooja our offerings and everything so yeah that's all about this thats all for my diwali vlog and i hope you people liked this video and i hope you liked this minimal decoration house tour i hope you're going to subscribe you're somewhere as you can see the button here

somewhere so don't forget to subscribe this channel and i hope you had a very happy and safe diwali and let's wish you all once again a very happy diwali to you all and yeah keep watchin okay bye

hi jim at the furniture workshop. today i'dlike to give you a quick preview of the next woodworking income project - the three panelbar. now this is the third project in my woodworking income series. and now that folks are spendingmore time indoors, this can be good project to build for customers. now like the otherincome projects, it goes together fairly quickly and can offer you a decent hourly rate afteryour expenses. so, looking at the bar construction.

home plans

home plans, the frame is solid pine stock. the skin ishalf-inch birch plywood, oriented vertically. and i created the decorative panels using1 by 4 pine and some cap molding. now the top is also pine with a half-inch plywoodbase and a laminated pine rail. to help the build go quickly, i'm using pocket hole jointsto assemble the frame. the skin is secured

with liquid nails, a few wood screws and brads- and that's all hidden under the panel frames. i've installed the plywood with a verticalgrain, so i can have the option of finishing the bar with paint or stain. now this prototypehas two shelves but we could probably squeeze another shelf into the final design to makethings a little more convenient for the bartender. so, that's the basic design for my home bar.i'm hoping to have the final project done in the next week or so. and i'll have woodworkingplans available a couple weeks after that. now if you'd like to see the full build video, subscribe to our youtube channel right here and you'll get an update as soon as the video is ready.and i'll also put together videos on pricing, costs and some marketing tactics to help reachnew customers. in the meantime, if you'd like

to check out our other income projects, visitour website at homegrownfurniture.com. and thanks for watching today.

in the last 1980s, after designing and analysingand promoting solar housing for about 12 years at the time, we decided tobe involved in a solar movie that was put together by a tv station to explain what solardesign was in the housing sector. we had developed the solar energy informationcentre that was developed to educate and make people aware of the benefits of using solarenergy. and the tv host david grant approached

home designs

home designs, us to showcase four houses. those designswere from a basic design affordable house, up to a luxury design in dalkeith, which isa fairly prominent wealthy area in perth. it showedthat the concept of solar design was truly egalitarian, there was no discriminationagainst the rich. no, seriously, it showed

that it could be done on an affordable basisfor everybody. everyone could save energy, everyone could contribute to the reductionof carbon pollution. solar design, how to harness that marvellousresource the sun, and the wind for that matter, to make life at home a littleeasier, particularly if you’re planning orbuilding a new home. the one thing that does come out in the study of four housesthat’s most important is that a light house need not necessarily be a hot house. weare going to meet the architect of the four properties in fact, garry baverstock. butfirst let’s call on the four owners to give us their opinions on what it’s like to livein a

house with a solar design influence. our first house is a small project home inbayswater, built as much as a demonstration model as a residence for itssingle occupant. it’s naturally comfortable as opposed toartificial comfort we get in our offices and other places and it maintainsfor my comfort, a very even temperature throughout the year no matterwhat the extreme temperature is outside. now to stoneville in the hills behind mundaring, where a retired professional couple have made a total study of solar design.well it’s a house that if you work it well, it responds well. if you’re not interestedin

making it work, well it won’t do as wellas it could do. you have to close it when itsvery hot outside and not leave the windows and doors open, and then it keeps youvery pleasantly cool. our third house is at kingsley. a family homeon a block deliberately purchased for its northerly aspect.every morning of the year it’s never necessary to turn on a light unless you get upparticularly early but the normal waking time the house is already light and bright assoon as you get up. the fourth home in our study is at dalkeith, the largest of the four and perhaps the most difficult to design.it’s excellent, and in summer it’s very

much cooler. we don’t get any sun in thehouse in summer because the solar pergolas are very efficient and they’re angled correctly.and in winter it allows the sun to come right into the house and warm it up. of course thetiled floor acts as a heat bank and it’s always a pleasant temperature to walk on evenin the middle of winter. now to the architect garry baverstock whoexplains the underlying aims of solar design. passive solar houses in temperateclimates can save between 60 to 90 percent of energy bills, and maintain comfort between18 to 28 degrees all year round. so you’re living in luxury and you’re not having topay for it. you’re simply using the weather and the air temperatures to your advantage.i think once that message gets clearly through

then we will see some significant changesin subdivision design and were going to see some substantial changes in people's thinkingabout how they put their designs together. in a moment we will show just how these fourhomes were designed for solar sense, but first we need to understand what happens in thew.a. sky. dr bill parker in the solar information centre in south perth explains with the helpof a model. what i’m going to do now is show you thewinter sun pattern. it rises to the north ofeast, about 30 degrees north of east and only comes up in the sky to a fairly lowangle and that’s about it. so that’s why we put the windows on the north, to capturethat sun. summer's a completely different

picture. this is a midsummer day. the sunis rising to the south of east by quite a long way, and before even 10 o'clock we’vehad a lot of heat on that side, hence the reason for minimising the windows. but thedramatic thing is that the sun appears to sit up there in the sky for a substantialpart of the day. and likewise minimising the windows on the west, same thing again. the five major points are put simply, gettingthe orientation right so that you've got the house that way around on the block, withthe north there. you’ve got the windows right, minimise the windows on theeast and the west, most of the windows on the north. you're using solid materialsfor construction to store winter

heat, primarily. you're providing adequateventilation by the placement of the house with regard to the breeze and bringingthe breeze right through, passively. and really the other essential is to minimiseheat flow by insulation for both summer and winter. the houses were all designed by the one architect, grary baverstock. but bayswater and stoneville for example vary considerably in size. the basic principles are exactly the same.similar glass areas on the north, the same orientation, the same rules of orientation, the same rules of shading and getting the winter sun in the north from thewindows on the north. but there is one

small difference - the collection area isactually partially on the roof of this house, and we're able to reduce the glassarea on the north wall and put it to the middle of the house to help heat the southrooms. the size of the house as it increases meansthat you get a greater depth in the north-south direction and you tend to findthat if you don’t do anything about it you end up with a dark spot in the middle of thehouse. and usually with modern plans these days, open plans and central kitchens,it’s a good idea to make that the brightest part of the house not the darkest.and it also gives you the freedom as you get a bigger house, if you've got viewssay on the south side of the house, as in

this case, you can put some of the livingareas on the south side and allow the winter sun to come through the roof and strikethe floor on the south side of the house.with bigger plans you get dark spots in the middle of the house and that’s whereskylights, clerestory windows properly designed to shade in the summer andexpose the sun in winter, gets the winter sun back into the middle of the house andmakes it light and bright and airy, whereas it’s usually the darkest in most plans.so that would be a fundamental difference between the simple plan which is small, anda more architectural design which is a lot larger usually.

the large home in dalkeith had that controlledlight source in the centre but another flooding the entry hall to the south.well that works very well, it allows light to enter the house all the time, there areno dark holes in the house. but the sun doesn’tpenetrate in the summer because there is an overhang which is sufficient to block thesun. all four property owners vouch for increasedefficiency in following solar design principles.well the electricity bills are minimal, really very tiny compared with the previousbills that we were paying. we use very little electricity, we use gas, about onecylinder per six months for cooking only,

so it’s cheap.

if you think buying a new homeis out of reach because you just can't save enough for that 20percent down, well we may have some good news for you.time to clean the gutters. on today's show, we'll show youan easier way that will save you hours of nasty work.today we give you the important

home designing

home designing, abcs for choosing a new roofthat will keep your family comfortable, safe and secure foryears to come. (music).if you've ever tried to navigate the world of home mortgages, youknow there are a lot of choices

out there to help you get a homeof your own. but, if you think you need toput a 20% down payment to get started, we have big news.there are ways to get financing without this.here to tell us more is kim divad, home loan officer atprime lending. kim, so good to have you herewith us today. thank you debi for having me onthe show. i have lots of questions foryou, but before we get started, tell us what you do at primelending.

i am a branch manager at primelending, and i manage branches across the state of ohio andmichigan. we handle over 1500 loans in ayear, and we are located near one of the largest air forcebases in the united states, wright patt airforce base, so wehave a high influence of government loans for fha and va.so, what are some mortgages that maybe we would overlook or notknow about. there are so many differentneeds out there. we've got them anywhere from aconventional with a 5% down

payment, to jumbo financing whenthe loan is $417,000 and above. then, there are your governmentloans, which a few are your fha and va mortgages which allow alittle more flexibility. okay, now i've heard of them butcan we break them down to understand them a little bitbetter? fha stands for federal housingadministration. it was created back in the greatdepression to stimulate home ownership.it is insured by fha, so it's not the lender that's insured,it's fha that's insuring the

lender.okay. the lender then is the providerof the mortgage. so, that insurance covers thelender that, if the buyer defaults, the lender receives apercentage of coverage from the government, and that fhainsurance. and therefore can offer thebuyer less down-payment. yes.absolutely. okay.that down payment can be as low as 3.5%.wow.

that's incredible.it is. okay, so let's talk about theother loan. it was a va loan, so i'massuming veteran's administration?yes. yes.the va. veterans' administration.that was created back in 1944 and the purpose of that was tocreate affordable housing for military buyers.to qualify for a mortgage, there are time served requirements foractive duty military and retired

military.also, national guards and reservists are also eligible.another great benefit that many are not aware of, if you are aspouse and you've lost your spouse during the service, orfrom service connected disability, you are alsoeligible for va benefits. you know, they always say homeis where the heart is, and with these loans, it's true.they're making home ownership available to people that maybewould not have been able to without these loans.absolutely.

it allows flexibility with thedown payment requirements, because both of those loans areinsured by the government, it gives the lenders a lot moreflexibility to offer more aggressive terms for theindividuals. so, any other advice for newhome owners? take away the fears of owning ahome, and reach out to talk to a loan officer.they're there to inform you, to walk you through the step toguide you if you can buy now, in one of the many programs, or ifyou maybe need some time and

what you do need to do toprepare for that home ownership. perfect.great advice. thank you so much for being hereand explaining those programs. we really appreciate it.i do believe prime lending is coming back to show us how loanscan help us renovate as well? absolutely.i'm looking forward to that. thank you so much for beinghere. thank you.appreciate it. well, if you have missed any ofwhat we covered today, just head

on over to our website atdesigningspaces.tv. you can also find us on facebookand twitter. we'll see you soon.bye bye. (music).owning a home means there is no shortage of do it yourselfprojects. one of those projects that isnot a lot of fun, and in fact, can be quite dangerous iscleaning out the rain gutters. climbing the ladder and dealingwith the leaves, bugs, debris and muck is a tiring andpotentially dangerous chore.

spending hours on a tall ladder, reaching into those gutters is a huge safety concern.not to mention, an ugly job. on this episode of designingspaces, we're in alabaster alabama, about 25 minutes southof birmingham, where this home is getting a gutter makeover, sothat the gutters will never have to be cleaned out again.i've cleaned the roof, the gutters myself, and it gotscary. came home late at night a lot oftimes and just didn't want to do it anymore because of my age.we are installing a gutter

helmet system on top of theirexisting gutters to keep the foreign debris out and keep thewater flowing free. gutter helmet is a gutter systemthat consists of a textured surface, allowing rain water tocling to the surface as it flows downward.the edge of each of the gutter guard systems is curved andextends past the edge of the gutter to allow rain water toflow naturally into the gutter system, keeping leaves anddebris from clogging up the gutters.surface tension is a property of

water that makes it cling tothings, like when you're washing dishes and it wraps around thebottom of your cups and bowls. gutter helmet takes advantage ofthis and lets the water cling to the front of the gutter helmetwhile it floats the debris over the front edge.gutter helmet has the ability to handle 22 inches of raineach hour without overflowing, far morethan the highest recorded rain amount in the united states, which is only 11 inches in one hour, proving that gutter helmethas the ability to handle much

more than mother nature canthrow your way. gutter helmet was the first, thebest. it's america's number one choicefor gutter protection. we've installed millions of feetover 30 years. it's proven to work.there's just no better product out there.gutter helmet offers a unique and patented development in theindustry. the gutter topper preventsanimals from nesting in your gutters, blocks debris fromsettling in your gutters and

still efficiently andeffectively directs rain water away from the home.the gutter cap aids your current system in protecting your roofand home from water damage. besides the fact of keeping theleaves and debris our of your gutters, a free flowing guttersystem helps protect against wood rot, foundation damage, mold in some cases, and water eroding around your foundationand your landscaping. (drill sounds).the gutter helmet certified installers first clean, seal, check and adjust the alignment

of your gutter system wherenecessary, and then they custom fit the gutter helmet to yourhome with heavy gauge reinforced support brackets.gutter helmet panels are individually prepared andsecured over your full size gutters.gutter helmet is mounted under or over your roof shingles, depending on the construction of your home.one of the things that sets gutter helmets apart is it'scustom installed by your custom installed by your certifiedinstaller.

(music).as any long time homeowner will tell you, eventually, your homewill need a new roof. after years of exposure to theelements, materials age and their performance could beweakened.

while we all want a new roofthat is effective and good looking, there is one criticalfactor that's often overlooked. designing spaces is here inconcord ohio where this lovely home is getting a new roof.now, it's about a whole lot more than insulation and attractiveshingles. it's also about ventilation.joining us today is brian ray from owens-corning roofing.thanks so much for joining us. glad to be back with you.alright, now, why is ventilation so important for a roof?it's actually a misconception

that ventilation only benefitsyour in the summer months, or in the hot climate areas.both are incorrect assumptions. before going through a re-roofjob, homeowners should really understand the roll ventilationplays in the overall performance of the roof.you know, a properly ventilated system, with proper intake andexhaust really manages heat and moisture.it reduces the likelihood of ice damming, and really contributesto a high-performance roof. you know it's important to alsostate that you don't have to

wait until you're re-roofingyour home to improve your ventilation.a lot of roofing contractors can do it to existing roofs as well.we've talked about ventilation before, but it can be kind ofcomplicated. it can.that's why, at owens-corning, we've tried ti simplify it withthe abcs of ventilation. abc.that sounds pretty simple, so tell me more about it.a is for ample. it's the proper amount ofventilation required to manage

heat and moisture, reduce thelikelihood of ice-damming, and really improve the overallquality of your roof system and roof assembly.a trained roofing contractor should analyze the home, analyzethe amount of proper intake, the current amount of exhaust, andmake a recommendation to the home owner to improve theoverall ventilation system. alright, up next, b.b is for balance, so, the proper intake ventilation matches theexhaust ventilation. what i mean by that is theamount of air flowing into your

attic is equal to the amountthat's going out of your attic through the exhaust so it's allabout balance, so it creates a stack effect, so that fresh dryair comes in through your intake vent, and forces that stalemoist air out of the exhaust vents.alright, i have a feeling c is coming up next.c is all about control, so it's controlling the air leakage intothe attic from the conditioned living space below, and pointswhere that moisture can leak in there are recessed lights, oreven bath vents and that puts

unwanted heat and moisture intoyour heat and attic, and if you don't have the proper area togo, it could really lead to premature degradation of theroof, and overall poor roofing performance.the average homeowner produces gallons of moisture every day intheir everyday activities. cooking, bathing, and withoutproper exhaust ventilation, that moisture has no place to go, andcan lead to mold, poor indoor air quality, or can impact theoverall performance of the system.conversely, if you have plenty

of exhaust vents, but verylittle intake vent, the air is just not moving, and you'resuffocating the system. that also can lead to poorindoor air quality, mold and also all that hot stale air willforce it down into it's living space, which will put someunneeded stress on your heating and cooling.how do we know if a home has an adequate ventilation system?there are a few key indicators. if you have an unfinished attic, inspecting the nails or the metal piping within the attic,if you see rust or it's just

abnormally hot in there, thatmay be an indicator that you have excess heat and moisturetrapped in your attic. the other indicator is for coldweather environment where we encourage homeowners to look attheir room compared to their neighbors.if their neighbor's roofs have snow on them, but their don't,that may mean they have excess heat and moisture that's meltingthat snow. it's that scenario that'sleading to ice damming and so we suggest that they contact atrained professional to do an

analysis on the roof to makesure that problem goes away. did you say ice-damming?i did. ice-damming is a wall of icethat forms at the lower eve. it's caused by hot areas of yourroof, or warm areas of your roof, that make that snow andice melt, and then it refreezes at the cooler portions along theeve. water gets trapped behind thatwall of ice and without a place to go, forces its way up underthe shingles and can cause a lot of damage to your insulation, your drywall, or even your

structural materials within yourroof. when most people think of roofventilation, they think of those spinning turbines, and those canreally be an eyesore. they certainly can.the other thing i tell homeowners is just because yousee them up there doesn't mean they're working properly.remember, without them, a proper amount of intake ventilation, noexhaust vent will work, so one of the tips we always share withhomeowners is to make sure their intake vents are free frominsulation, so they're not black

with insulation, and they're notpainted over, either. vent-sure ridge and roof ventsare designed to improve the aesthetics of the overall roof, and the performance. remember, we talked about thetotal protection roofing system. well, the vent-sure productportfolio is 2 of the 7. vent-sure intake and exhaust.so, soffit and inflow for intake, and ridge and roof ventsfor the exhausts. notice the soffit vents arelower than the exhaust vents because hot humid air rises, which creates a natural flow in

the attic.if someone needs a new roof, how can they go about finding aqualified contractor who can install a proper ventilationsystem? the national network ofowens-corning roofing contractors makes it easy tofind a professional in your area, simply visitowenscorning.com/roofing to find a professional in your area, orlearn more about the ventsure ventilation system.a system designed to improve the overall aesthetics andperformance of the roof and

attic structure is a keycontributor to the overall performance of the roof andprovide the homeowner a comfortable living environment.brian, thanks so much for joining us today, and teachingus a valuable lesson on roof and attic ventilation.as always, if you'd like to view this segment again, you can logonline to designingspaces.tv and while you're there, you'll alsofind the link to the owens-corning website.here in concord, ohio, i'm nicole marcellino, for designingspaces.

(music).the way i met amy was in my art appreciation class that i tookin my senior year of college. he started making me laugh andthat caught my attention, and he's always been able to make melaugh a lot. after todd earned a job as amechanical engineer, he and amy took advantage of a great offerand bought this home in south florida.when we first saw the house, i knew right away it was my dreamhouse. exactly what i envisioned whenwe got married.

the house could use someupgrades, and one of the areas todd and amy are looking for isthe dining room. put some crown molding and somechair rails in, and you know, really bring out the elegance ofthe room for us. i'm really into the diy thing,so i'm like "why not? let's do it."we got together with the team at woodgrain millwork and broughtin renee crill and joe wetstein to give helpful tips andsuggestions to enhance the space with molding.we will be installing finished

elegance by woodgrain, which isa new finished molding. it is more durable than yourtraditional molding. since finished elegance isalready finished white, amy and todd will first need to havetheir white walls painted with an off white paint to achieve acontrast between the molding and the wall.finished elegance is great for diyers, new diyers, because itinstalls in three easy steps. so, they just need to cut it,install it, nail it up, and then just touch it up with the waxfill stick, and the caulk and

it's done.so, it doesn't require the sanding, priming, and paintingand multiple steps of your traditional molding.joe wetstein is finished elegance's category manager, andis here to lend a helping hand to the inexperienced couple.the first thing we need to do is measure everything out andunderstand what the measurements are, and how much molding weneed to do the room. first, joe, todd and amy willwork on cutting the molding for thejudge's panel.

now that all of the pieceshave been cut, it's time to install themon the wall. we have pre-drawn our guidelinehere and we're going to go ahead and lift it up in place andbring it to so the bottom of the chair rail comes right to thisline. the chair rail is attached tothe wall with a nail gun, leaving the nails visible.woodgrain has got a solution for that.what we've got inside this touchup kit is a wax crayonfilled stick, and it is again

color matched to the finishedelegance white. we got a plastic scraper and abuffing pad, so all you've got to do is color inside the nailhole and fill it in with the wax.scrape the excess off with razor blade and buff it clean with thebuffing pad. the project is really shapingup. the chair rail and the judge'spanels are installed. now, all that's left to do isput up the crown molding. we've got, up there in the trayceilings, we've pre-drawn the

lines so that we've got a lineto hold the bottom of the crown right to that.todd, if you want to grab that piece right there on the floor, and yep we'll just go ahead and take it right up.the last step before completion is to apply caulking to thechair rail. we want to use this finishedelegance color match caulk and fill in all the gaps from wherethe walls may not have been completely straight, and anygaps also in the miters. once the molding is installed, the room will have a nice look

and feel to it.the white molding finished elegance will pop against theoff-white walls and it will really look nice, and will add anice feel to their dining room. alright, so we're done.what did you guys think of the finished product?absolutely loved it. the room looks fantastic.it completely changed the character.i cannot wait to bring my friends and family here to hostdinner parties. i think they're going to loveit.

thank you so much for having usin here. thank you.alright, enjoy your new dining room.thanks. you can find out more aboutfinished elegance, what the product is made of, the featuresand benefits of the products, how to install it atfinishedelegance.com. modular homes are buildings that consist ofnumerous parts which are created in a remote facility and then delivered to the constructionsite. the various units are combined into a singlebuilding using either cranes and trucks. modular components are usually fabricatedin a large facility on assembling ways, much an automobile company.

home design

home design, such establishments use an assembly line tomove the sections from one workstation to the next. contracted building inspectors are on locationto regulate the manufacturing and check that all codes are conformed during manufacturing

modern prefab homes are also popularly known as modular homes as you can put together anynumber of rooms to create the kind of home you wish. prefab homes are increasingly witnessing highdemand due to a variety of reasons: speedy construction the construction of a prefab home is muchfaster than a custom built home. within two months of order time your homeis ready. since each room is built in a factory, allyou have to do is to place your order with

the prefab house builders and your house isbuilt, transported to your site and then put together. on the other hand a traditional home can takefew months or even a year. life nowadays has become very fast and peopleare perennially short of time. prefab modern homes are an ideal option asthey are faster to build and hassle-free. the insulation of prefabricated walls is superiorto traditional houses as they are built in a factory. although site-built walls are thicker thanprefab walls, they still tend to sag over a period of time.

protection from bugs since modules of prefab houses are built inthe factory, they are better protected from bugs. in contrast, traditional homes take a lotof time to build so the timber and other parts are more exposed to damage. money saver once your prefab home is built, you can savea lot of money on electricity due to superior insulation. precious money is also saved on lumber.

it generally reduces construction and designcosts to a great extent as compared to a traditional home. design the way you like with a prefabricated home you get the benefitof designing your own home according to your whims and fancy. you can choose the number of rooms you want, their size, designs, etc. environment- friendly prefabricated homes are less damaging to theenvironment as they are made from recycled, renewable materials, use less energy and don'tpollute.

as people are becoming more conscious aboutenvironment, the demand for eco-friendly green prefab homes is growing. in fact, there are green home building websitesnow that offer aesthetically designed environment-friendly prefab houses, modern outdoor and indoor furniture, home accessories, etc. better equipped to handle natural disasters prefab homes are stronger than traditionalhomes. particularly, for an area which has experiencedhurricanes or tornadoes, a prefab is an ideal choice as they can withstand violent stormsand other natural disasters better than traditional homes.

lower prices, faster and easier to build, and a range of designs to choose from are the chief benefits of prefabricated homes. the popularity of prefabricated homes is thussky rocketing. prefab homes today are built from such advancedtechnology that you can't even tell the difference between a prefabricated house and a traditionalhouse. people from all walks of life are now choosingprefabricated homes instead of traditional

home design software

home design software

this tutorial demonstrates creating a floor plan in live home 3d. the first thing one needs to do before creating a floor plan

home design software

home design software, is to set the scale and measurement units for the given project. you can do that by clicking on the square with the measurement abbreviation

between the two rulers. i'll use feet and leave the scale as is. click ok to get back to the workspace. now, the first thing we need are walls. there are several tools in the program for drawing them.

clicking on the room button activates the room drawing tool. double click on the button to keep the tool activated even after completing a room. then, just place the cursor over the area where you want the room to begin and click and drag

to begin drawing it. as you see, the program displays the length of each wall while you draw. straight wall and arc wall tools are necessary for making more complicated projects. say, if a room is not really square

and has an arc wall, then here is how we may draw it. activate the straight wall tool by clicking on its button. place the cursor over the area where you want the wall to begin, to begin drawing a wall. clicking once creates a corner, allowing you to draw a wall

in some direction. to cease drawing, just double click on the end point. now switch to the arc wall tool and connect the two endpoints of the straight walls by clicking on them. move the cursor to the middle of the wall and bend it in the necessary direction. once you've done it,

make a click to complete the drawing. to make the arc wall smooth, adjust the segmentation slider in the object properties tab of the inspector. if you need to shift a wall later, all you need to do is simply select and drag it. you can change its angle by selecting the end point

and moving the cursor, or set the wall length and thickness via inspector. please note that you should not create gaps for doors and windows when drawing walls, as creating an enclosed area automatically creates ceilings and floors,

and displays area measurements for each room. doors and windows are later added by dragging and dropping them onto walls. other important tools in the 2d view are the ones that draw custom floors, ceilings and openings, which are all created in the same way. just click on the corresponding tool

and click on the canvas to begin drawing. contour points can be added and removed even after drawing the floor or ceiling. you can see there are area measurements for each closed room. you can add custom comments by double clicking on them

and typing in what you need. for example, room names. you also have the option of filling the rooms, walls, and other building elements on the 2d plan with color and/or pattern

in the 2d properties tab of the inspector. the dimension tool allows to measure the distance between two points and display it on the 2d plan. the annotation tool basically creates a text box for custom comments. note that the text properties

of annotations can be controlled using the fonts dialog that is brought up from the 2d properties tab. now let's take a look at stories. stories can be added and removed in the building properties tab of the inspector. you can add stories above

or below the current story. let's add an upper story. by default, the new story has the same exterior walls as the first. this can be easily changed by moving and resizing the walls. to display the floor plan of a particular story,

simply click on the representation in the inspector. you can also make any story the ground floor. any stories below will become part of the basement. deleting a story is as simple as selecting the representation and clicking the trash can button. once the floor plan is complete,

you can always review it using the pan and zoom tools in the toolbar. also, note that the project is automatically built in the 3d mode, and any changes made in the 2d view take place there in real time. that's it for working in 2d.

home deco

home deco

hi i'm aannsha jones. thank you for visiting. in this video you can learn how to make it felt painting and lay out the wool in a great design, so with that said let's get started. making felt paintings

home deco

home deco, and wall hangings is fun! i began as an artist using acrylics and painting murals. i wanted to see what could be achieved with felt. here are some of my

felt paintings. i think you'll agree you can create anything you can imagine. today we're making a simple painting with simple design layout, but from here you can explore your own style. all materials for this project are listed below. start by laying the first of 4 layers. i use white wool as it makes a nice fresh base. layers of wool blend as they felt so

for the second layer, lay blocks of color as a background for your finished painting. so orange and yellow for the sand and light blue for the ocean. lay these rovings at right angles to the first layer. the third layer will bring more variety of shades which will give the finished felt painting more depth. if it helps look at a photo of the beach to

see where the sand is lighter and where the ocean looks darker. here i'm adding different sand shades, getting lighter where the waves meet the sand. again the tops are laid out at right angles to the second layer. i'm still using light blue for the ocean because i'll use a mixed roving for the waves detail in the final layer. pat it down

and make sure it is even thickness. i'm using two mixed rovings for the waves: dark blues and ocean blues & greens. the white in each roving is silk which gives it lustre, like shiny water. as you can see i'm teasing out the shades of blues and see greens leaving pale blue showing through and this creates the look of waves.

where the waves meet the shore, i'm using white roving to create the white wavy foam, then i had more dark blue to create shadow and this gives the waves depth. next i use variegated yarn and roll it up to create the effect when it's felted of coral and shells. once i've placed these in position i use a little wool roving the same color as the

sand to place over the yarn and this helps it to felt well into the painting. to create more light in the waves and on the beach i add hand dyed silk rovings and these catch the light and and add shine. i balance the dark of the ocean with a stronger burnt orange on the sand at the base of the painting. next i add some dimensional wool and gives really gives a

great ripple effect to the sand. finally i add wool nepps to the crest of the waves to give more of a frothy look the foam. nepps don't blend easily as they're already pretty much pre-felted so these need white rovings over the top to help them felt. now ready to felt, put down netting and wet the wool right through. carefully rub soap over the wool

and begin rubbing gently so as not to disturb the design underneath. i will quickly show most of the felting process here but for full details, materials and an explanation on how to make felt, please follow the link provided. and the pinch test shows it's mostly ready for the next stage except one little detail and i rub that the bubble wrap.

now onto rolling around the pool noodle the video: how to make felt - tells you how long to roll and how many times to turn your work to get even shrinkage. now for the following stage: rubbing the felt and dipping in soapy water and then more rubbing. it's ready when you achieve that lovely recognizable textured finish. then you need to rinse all the soap out.

add 2 tsp vinegar to the final rinse and make sure the wool soaks it up. leave it to rest in the vinegar water while you tidy up. squeeze out the excess water gently then towel dry. pull into shape and there's your beautiful finished felt painting. and here it is hanging on the line. i love the colours! and here is dry. if you've enjoyed this video please

give it a like! and if you want to be notified of my next creative videos please subscribe to my channel! this is aannsha jones over and out.

gambar rumah

gambar rumah

who are you? have you ever wondered who you really are? hi, my name is tsur and in this video we are going to answer

gambar rumah

gambar rumah, this eternal question. well, many may think that this questionis too philosophical,

and that it's notreally answerable because the "i"is an abstract concept a product of our mind it is not a real thing. the truth is that the "i" is not a made-up concept it's a real phenomenon in fact, it's the one mostreal thing in your life, but i'll explain thisclaim in another time.

the most interesting thing is that each one of us has at this moment all the necessaryknowledge and experience to answer this question. so, let us start withthe common answer if i asked you or any other personon the street you or he may say:

"well i am john" and then i'd say: "yeah, but you can changeyour name to michael and you will stillremain yourself" and then he might answer: "well of course i'm not my name, it's only a reference. i'm a human being" and this is the common answer:

we are human beings, a biological organism - in other words, i am my body. but, why do we limit our "i" to the boundariesof the body? lets say we arein a car; why don't weidentify ourselves as the car?

why don't we say "i am the car!" and the simple answeryou would give might be: "because i'm still meeven if i'm not in the car. even if the car ceasesto exist - i remain, therefore i'm not the car" in other words the thing which is me must remain constant

everywhere i am and thereforei am my body since my body iseverywhere i am... is it? let us examineif this is true, and in orderto do so we will have to do ashort mental experiment: i want you to imagine that you havelost your palm.

please you do nothave to imagine how or why just, gently imagine that you do not haveyour palm anymore. now, while doing that, ask yourself ifyou are still you? or whether you aresomeone else... and it is most obviousthat you'll answer

that you arestill yourself. just as you continuebeing yourself without the car, you continue tobe yourself without your palm. this means thatthe palm is yours but it is not you! continue to imagineyourself without a foot, a leg, a kidney, an ear,

and check ifyou are still you. you can easilyapply this test to almost everypart of your body; and in factthere are so many people who can testify to this since they hadactually lost parts of their body, but remained themselves. so, we have foundsomething incredible:

the "i" is not the body! i am not my body! at least notmost of its parts; it might be moredifficult to examine. if we are the brainfor example but, i'll cover this issuein a separate video since it's notreally necessary in order for us tocontinue our investigation. so,

what is the i? who am i? well maybei am the mind! the psyche! the mind psyche or,what i prefer to call: the inner world, is composed mainly ofthree types of impulses, coming eitherfrom our memory, or from ourpresent's perception.

these impulses are: sensations, which come fromthe five senses; emotions, such as anger, fear, love etc... and thoughts. their unique composition forms what we may call: our personality.

it is quite easy for us to imagine ourselvesas a mind separate from the body. we have all seenmovies like: avatar, big and heaven can wait, in which a person lives in a different body and remains himself

are we our mind? first of alli can notice that my thoughts, emotions and sensations change each moment, so they cannot be me... remember: the thing which is me must remain constanteverywhere i am. if i can lose orchange a part of me

and remain myself this part is not me! this is valid tophysical parts as well asmental parts. i feel sad and theni stop feeling sad and in both cases i'm the same me. even the total sum ofthoughts and memories which we callour personality

cannot be me, since it changesover time. as a baby i didn't have the memoriesand thoughts i have now, but this babywas still me. but, if i am not my mind, then who am i? so let us deepenour investigation,

and in order to do so we can be assisted by the followingkind of sentences: i hear my thoughts i experience joy i feel cold we can seein these sentences that the i is separatefrom the thoughts, the emotionsor the sensations.

this isn't just a"form of expression". this is anaccurate description of the psychological phenomenon taking placeinside of us: there is the thought, theemotion or the sensation and there is the "i", who observesor experiences this particularthought or emotion. i have just saidsomething that

might be difficultto understand because it'svery subtle: in the backgroundof our inner world exists another layer, the layer of experienceor awareness. you don't have tobelieve me, see for yourselves: do the followingsimple exercise: close you eyes andimagine a house.

it doesn't have tobe a clear image. the important thing isthat you will see something, even a blur. look at the imagein your head. do you see it? if you do, ask yourselvestwo questions: who sees the image? what is the thingwhich sees the image?

you might want to pausethe video for a moment, and do the exercise. welcome back! if you have donethe exercise, and you have doneit seriously, you could easily answerthe first question: who sees the image. and the answer is: "i"

"i see the image..." and what is the thingthat sees the image? it is certainly not asensation or emotion, nor is it a thought. the house is a thought. the thing thatsees the house is an observer... an experiencer... so you see,

the mind and the "i"who experience it are not the same. i am not the mind! i am the experiencer! there is a wordfor what i have called, the experiencer, and it isconsciousness. but the wordconsciousness is often used withdifferent meanings

like intelligenceor thought. so from now on, when i use theword consciousness, i will use itwith a specific meaning: "the capacity to experience" "to be aware of..." is there anythingprimordial to consciousness, which isthe real "i"? i haven't foundone yet.

we can say:"i observe my consciousness" but, this sentencehas no meaning. so at this pointthis is my answer: i am consciousness realizing thatwe are consciousness is a key factor inunderstanding reality, and it leads to new insightsand discoveries in the fields ofscience, philosophy, and even in our understandingsof our daily lives.

i hope to share with yousome of the insights it has brought me in the next videos. this also gives riseto new questions, which i don'thave answers to such as: is consciousnessa product of the brain, as scientistsbelieve today, or is it independentof the brain? in any case,

if, like me, you feel the importance of understandingthe answer to the question: please share this video so it can reachas many people as possible. if you have anyquestions or comments, please write them below so we can open a discussionon this topic, that may lead tonew understandings. thanks for watching,

and rememberwho you really are... finding thatwe are consciousness naturally leadsto the question: "what is consciousness"? so i have created a video explaining whatconsciousness is, and what itsattributes are. you can watch it by pressingthe link on the left. remember the mentalexperiment we did

to show that weare not our body? if you remember, i said that withthis method, it is difficultto conclude whether we arethe brain on not. this issue is covered onthe link on the right.
